Mike Murphy
President and C.E.O.

Mike Murphy started with Gas Test Operating Ltd. in February of 1977. Then he moved on to Central Alberta Production Testing in 1979. In 1986, when Shell Canada Resources Ltd. offered Mike a career change and a move to Sundre, he accepted the position and became Shell Employee #557898. After 10 years in the Burnt Timber Complex, a transfer to the Shell Hamburg Plant in North Western Alberta necessitated a move to Fairview, Alberta.

When Anderson Exploration gave Mike an opportunity to spend more time around home and work out of the Dunvegan Plant, another change was made.

After the death of his wife, Mike and his children sold the farm and Mike went back to Central Alta Testing as a Field Sales Rep.

Shortly after, MJM Production Services Ltd. became a reality and here we are.

Ken Halbert
Partner/Field Superintendant

Ken has been involved in the production testing industry since 1978 when he started with Norward Energy in Calgary. The road that led him to MJM passed thru many provinces, states, countries and continents. Every stop along the way, provided Ken with knowledge and experience that provides our clients with a high comfort level. Ken is a very strong factor in the success that we have experienced at MJM.

Ryne Hoff
Partner/Field Supervison/Sales

Ryne also comes to MJM with international exposure, working off the east cost of Canada, in the north, Beaufort & Timor Sea's, Russia, Oman, Syria and Saudi to name a few. When called upon to flow wells in extreme conditions with high well effluent production rates. Ryne showed his ability to do whatever was required to obtain the desired information for the customer.

Tyler Hoff
Partner

Tyler has a diversified background that has made him a knowledgeable and respected member of the petroleum industry. Tyler started his oilfield career with Norward Energy. After proving his abilities as a qualified production testing supervisor, he made his way to Grande Prairie, AB and became their Operations Manager in 1983. Tyler has also been involved in the pressure testing business as well as co-designing a new type of pipe lay-down system.
